Hiya gang!

Less than one week left on the clock and you have been absolutely great! This is turning out to be the biggest campaign any single TFAC issue has ever had, all thanks to your incredible support and pledges :D

Thank you all so much for pushing Red and TFAC universe to new heights, I cannot wait to see where we land and how many more Stretch Goals we get to unlock by next week!

I would personally love to work on a brand new coin, it's been a few campaigns now without one and past backers can share how cool the ones we've done so far have turned out.

As we go into our final days here on Kickstarter here are a few things you can do to push us even further!

• Refer this KS campaign to a friend
• Post about it on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, heck, you can even dance about it on TikTok
•  You can always upgrade that pledge <---------------- (more on this one below!)
• Last but not least you can always cheer us on by leaving words of encouragement in our comment sections, those help a lot too!

With so much content being unlocked it's safe to say we are now catering to every tier so now it's the perfect time to upgrade your pledges. 

Whether from Digital to Print or from Regular Cover to one of the Kickstarter Exclusives, from the books alone to a combo of books, every dollar counts!

These are a couple of my favorite unlocked Stretch Goals and I'm stoked we already got them. The photoshoot with Carol Costa was an incredible experience and there are so many more cool images that it's awesome we get to reveal them through collectible cards :D

And any chance to invite a new artist to have them offer their vision of the Redhead is always an absolute blast for me as the co-creator and editor of the project. 

And of course, it's already traditional to DOUBLE the number of books backers get with the Black and White Ashcan edition with Fabiano's original inks preserved as how they were produced.

I have no idea what's gonna happen in the next few days but I do know that this Kickstarter campaign has been nothing short of stellar. Let's go at those final moments with everything we got and I'm sure the sky is the limit!

I've known Kat for a few years now, she's a terrific creator and it's just awesome seeing the success she's having with this latest campaign. She's closing in on $50K from almost 1400 backers, that's a monstrous campaign!

From her own page: "The Beast and Snow #1 is a 28-page NSFWQueer Fairytale Romance with a ton of action, sex, and even a bit of comedy. When Snow White is brought back to life as a vampire, she vows to give up her people-pleasing ways and to live her life on her own terms. Here's another project that is already fully funded and from a friend that so happens to be an incredible creator. David and I actually worked together in the past, he was the one that helped me launch my very first Kickstarter campaign almost ten years ago! I highly recommend you check out his latest book, the art is absolutely eye-popping!

New Stretch Goals unlocked as we head towards 1200 backers!! Let's keep telling our friends about TFAC, folks!

Hey everyone!

I wanted to reach out and thank you all again for your incredible support and pledge towards the latest issue of The Few and Cursed! We continue to clear Stretch Goals and add exciting content and freebies to every pledge across the board, all thanks to you :D

San Diego Comic Con was absolutely hectic, I was so busy I barely had time to catch my breath from one day to another but here I am to finally announce and recap everything unlocked since the last update and as an avid card collector I couldn't be more stoked!

We continue to celebrate the character LaVerne, star of Shadow Nation, with her own series of collectible cards. We are doing 9 cards starring her meaning we still got another three to unlock ;)

For those that haven't read Shadow Nation I highly recommend it, it's among my favorite stories I have ever written, it turned out exactly like I envisioned and the emotional response I got from readers was overwhelming.

Keeping up with tradition, the Kickstarter exclusive variant cover will now be printed in holofoil paper for that beautiful chromium effect that every single issue from TFAC#3 has been lucky enough to sport. These look incredible held up close and I'm thrilled we were able to also manufacture #9 like this.

The bookmark is also another traditional Stretch Goal and I guarantee we will find an amazing art to do a sort of "animated" movement from one side of the bookmark to the other.

Last but certainly not least I've decided to develop another digital Stretch Goal and really enhance those digital only pledges as well. Mind you all digital Stretch Goals are included in every single tier, even the physical ones.

I thought it could be fun to have the voice of the Redhead record a few messages that we could use in our smartphones or computers like "You've got mail" or "Heads up, incoming!" 

What those messages are yet I don't know so feel free to leave ideas in the comments!

Post-apocalyptic book with a fierce female protagonist and a killer pet? I mean, if you pledged towards TFAC this is definitely within your wheelhouse! Pat Shand is an exciting creator and a good friend and I look forward to seeing his latest book, I encourage you to do the same. Just make sure you do it in the next 36 hours as his campaign is ending with a bang - fully funded and unlocking Stretch Goals!

Another project fully funded and unlocking Stretch Goals, I'm bringing you just the good stuff today. Wells and I have collaborated in the past and he is a terrific guy, definitely talented and worth checking out.

NEW STRETCH GOALS ANNOUNCED! THE REDHEAD AT SAN DIEGO COMIC CON! \o/

Hiya gang!

First of all THANK YOU all so much for our best-ever start here on Kickstarter, it means the world to Fabiano and myself to have so much support and love towards our work, you are all amazing \o/

I'm going to keep this Update quick because it's San Diego Comic Con weekend and we're super busy with a booth at the main Exhibition Hall, if you are attending the show make sure to drop by: Booth 2206!

NEW STRETCH GOALS!

Since you cleared Phase 1 in our first week on Kickstarter, I had to scramble to come up with exciting new content to be unlocked for Phase 2. I honestly thought I would be able to do this after SDCC but what a nice "problem" to have, ain't it?

Next week I will go into more details on everything unlocked so far but in the meantime here's what's in store for us moving forward, I hope you dig these and continue to help spread the word about The Few and Cursed and Red:

PREMIUM 1/4 COLLECTIBLE STATUE DEBUT AT SDCC

One of the coolest things we are announcing and debuting at SDCC is a Premium format 1/4 collectible statue of the woman herself! 

Sculptor Eddie Vieira has been working hard to deliver a truly exceptional piece and while this is still just a 3D printed prototype we prepped for the show, you can tell it's going to be something special to have at home. And by the way, this statue is huge, the size really impresses... \o/

We will be opening pre-orders for the statue in our next TFAC Kickstarter campaign coming up in the Fall so keep your eyes peeled!

Biggest opening day ever for The Few and Cursed!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!! 🔥

Howdy, folks!

You are all amazing and I cannot thank you enough for such an incredible start! In as little as 24hrs we were able to fund the project and unlock not one nor two, not even three, but FOUR Stretch Goals!!!!

I really hope we keep this up because it would mean this could be the biggest campaign since the trade paperback \o/

Onwards to the good stuff now... what has been unlocked?

Some of my favorite Stretch Goals have been unlocked already like the Gallery of Pin-Ups and the first collectible card. I absolutely love seeing artists work on their artistic interpretation of Red and I appreciate you all for making that happen.

Viskratos for instance is an artist I've been wanting to collaborate with for a long long time, great to have him in the TFAC universe! He is going to deliver an original 11x17in painting of the Redhead and I can't wait to have that hanging up on the wall at home. In fact... here's something I finally was able to do:

While cover artist Francesco Tomaselli work is all digital, I just love the emotion he was able to capture in his piece and it's going to make for a fantastic addition to The Few and Cursed card collection.

Project Spotlight

Simone & Ajax: What's Black & White and Read All Over?

Past backers know I love to exercise community spirit by spotlighting projects from fellow creators while they in turn do the same, it's like showing something cool to your friends.

My first project to spotlight is an easy one as it is the Project of the Day here on Kickstarter! The project is wrapping up an incredible campaign in a few hours having doubled their initial goal and well on its way to continue unlocking Stretch Goals.

Andrew and I actually met last year when we tabled together at San Diego Comic Con, he was my neighbor, really good guy and incredible comic book artist with lots and lots of tales to share. He's been in the biz for over 30 years and worked on The Simpsons comics among other incredible titles.

From his own page: "Simone, a fun-loving, 20-something girl, and her best pal, Ajax, a small, green dinosaur, first appeared over 30 years ago and have since run rampant in many comics and been nominated for the Harvey Award for Special Award for Humor."
